Not lighting properly


I am super confused why there are all these weird dots every where when i render. This is just a basic rendering but i’ve rendered once with up to 3000 samples and it still wont go away. I have only a single plane for my light source but i have had multiple a that still didnt help anything. i have also done a range of brightnesses and that hasnt helped anything. There is a diamond in the center with a solidify modifier of one but i have taken that off and it didn’t do anything.

Please ALWAYS supply an example .blend file with any support question.
Don’t force people willing to help into pointless guessing games.

I assume that’s a diamond within a glass box? What’s the node setup for the glass?
If that’s just a pure Glass shader, you’re basically lighting the diamond with caustics alone, which would of course take forever and then some to clear up.
