RE: More technical type 3d stuff

Hi,
These days I’m using Blender to dev for physical real world objects such as architecture and furniture.
I’d like to contribute to discussion on this type of activity in Blender.
Where is the best spot to have this sort of discussion?

Hi, I am not sure what you want.
Can you explain the following:

  • Using blender to dev for physical real world object such as architecture. (Are you talking about 3D printing?, or you are are up to fotorealistic archviz renders and, etc)
  • Contribute to discussion. With developpers, users …?

I suppose you mean you want to render realistic archviz renders, and mingle with discussions here. In that case:

Or if it is more profession/skill specific, seek another forum…
Anyways and either way, bring on your manifesto

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve been looking into programs such as Fusion 360.
These programs tend to be more ‘real world’ based such as requiring dimensions and such like.
As a further example, Arch tools will let me add dimensions, but I can’t change a dimension and have it effect the model.

I’m looking to get into CNC work and I don’t see any reason why Blender couldn’t participate in this space.
