I know this is wrong and silly asking something for nothing actually, just my word. But i need you to help me.Don’t waste summer for earning money,i counted that i need 876$ to buy the cheapest laptop and work calmly for 2 months.I know its a big money, but if you’ll belive in me or just have opportunity to help me,please did it.I can only promise that you’ll get all models ill make for this project and you can use it like you want(royalty free i mean).Thank you and don’t judge me please:(.This is patreon page:https://www.patreon.com/Tommoky

First and foremost, so far the quality of work is impressive. However, if you’re planning on animating this, you are going to need to get a personal computer in according to the specs for production quality. You can get a laptop to get Blender to run, but if it doesn’t meet the specs, you are going to have a hard time rendering this. As far as your living situation, don’t beat yourself up. Times are hard and may take time to recover. Become the engine to drive your passion even if you have no support behind you. Keep at it.

thx for reply and kind words.About computer i think in different direction,a regular laptop will be enought for working, maybe not very comfortable(without simulation and rendering),but its just my thoughts. And yes, ofcouse i’ll keep working on it.And i forgot ask one important thing, can i use open movie models from blendswap(sintel, big bag bunny etc.) just like statues,i want to make one scene something like a museum of blender,i read about licence but don’t actually understood can i use it or not.And i looked for your project so many years in your free time your patience шы incredibly man. What part of work did you do for now in your opinion?

Hi & welcome Tommoky.

Start with better titling.
Sticking out, attention seekers, if they are naive & direct, usually get less… but work more.

Hi and thank you for advice. It was just a scream of my soul,i don’t wait something from it.Make something cool the best way to get attention,i know, but i chosen the easest way for begining and its falled ofcouse,Don’t know why but i even can’t fix mistake in the title and live it like it is,it was a sign for me maybe:no:don’t so naive and try get something for nothing.

Tommoky, to answer your question about the models in BlendSwap. Most of the licenses gives you full rein on how to use them. You can use the models as you see fit and even edit them. Most of the authors ask that you credit them. Some of them you have to give credit. Some allows you to use them in commercial projects and others prevent you from selling the models for personal profit.
Read each one carefully to get a better understanding.

As far as the work done in the project, I did most of the work from environmental settings like lighting and texturing for some of the buildings. Majority of my work involves with character creation dealing with the modeling of the characters, UV texturing, and Rig Setup for the characters. I also deal with the special effects and some of the props with the episode I’m working on.

I did get some help on the creation of a scene that was important to the episode and gave where credit was due, but all along the way to this point I was working alone. Now if I can only get this Renderfarm up and running that can ease the animation issue.

Never the less, do what you can when you can. As the saying goes, “Rome was not built in a day”.

Hi everyone again,I’m sharing my little progress. For this stage it’s my laptop’s capacity limit,so i’ll add small environment models after i’ll make scene low or mid poly. This is a point city’s museum of blender art interior part(point city is town’s name where all events will take place, hope i can use this name).Just models, not textures and materials for now and lighting are just for you can see some dark parts,i’ll change it for normal lamps and fix some shortcoming in some places,on material and texturing stage.I don’t know can i use pro’s renders images to place it on wall’s pictures so it’ll be awesome if you’ll send me or leave here your works for this(i’ll write your name in titles). And the same problem with statues models, its museum of blender so i want to place works which made in blender(its cool i think and will make my work much easy if i don’t need to create all this stuff).Hope you like it and thank you.

Hey, this is looking really good. I totally like this late afternoon/blue hour mood with the orange lights, that totally remind me of the museum of technology in vienna I went to with my parents when I was younger
And you may not like it now but I think you will profit from the lack of processing power you now have, when you’re able to afford better computers. I see a lot of people with good hardware, who are not able to optimize their scenes, because they never experienced this issue

Thanks for reply.I used the metropolitan museum of art pictures for references with little changes.Yes.you’re right, optimization is only one way for me,its wrong way but for now i want to modeling all assets which i need and after that i’ll start texturing and optimization or maybe i’ll change my opinion about it,will see.Keep working and no matter what its take.

As much as I like the detail of the building environs, I warned him about getting an actual PC instead of a laptop.

Yes PC is much powerfull enstead of laptop, but it will be a problem if i’ll have to move for another place for example and i hope with optimization i can place all models that i need in one scene.I think its a big deal for most people earn money or have time to learn and making what you love, and for now i chosen to have more free time for what i love, not soon but i’ll buy a better hardware, heh and thanks that you are keeping eye on my progress,XeroShadow, its makes me a little be happier when someone interesting with what im doing.
