Grass Assets

I’m working on some grass assets, those are the first renders and I would love to hear some critic.




The grass isn’t dense enough to really judge the quality of the packet. For starters, try making it a little less uniform (different lengths or types of grass in clumps), taking a few from closer up, getting a better ground material, and rendering under varied lighting with Filmic. In post process, add some slight bloom (I use fog glow with a zero threshold, then multiply by 0.5) and some chromatic aberration.

Consider adding anisotropy to the grass blades (not sure how it will turn out, but real grass is anisotropic).
It’s a good start, but it still needs work.
