Noob, animating mechanics

Hello,
Never animated before, I´m completely noob in that field, however, I want to learn mechanical stuff animation, something like watches, sliding doors, gears engines. Can anyone point me to the right direction? youtube channels, books, or artists to follow… Thanks so much!

Heya!

For the blender basics you will have a lot on youtube looking for “blender animation basics”. I can’t recomend one video or another though, I haven’t had time to dive into any.

Animation, even just mechanical is a very deep well my friend, and takes a lot of observation, practice and more practice.
Here is a quick dump of some useful resources for animation principles!
