Turbulence mesh animation?

How to make a turbulence like mesh animation and bake it?
When I say turbulence animation I mean something like this:

Add a displace modifier to a subdivided cube.
Add a procedural texture to displace modifier.
And animate texture settings.

Yeah, that’s how I did the animation in the video. But how do I bake it?

In graph editor, you can bake animation curves or sample keyframes.
You can export it as an alembic file (geometry+animation) or an mdd file (just animation).
You can bake animated texture as a sequence of images.

But this kind of object can be appended or linked with its animation or only animation can be copied/pasted directly from original blend to a new project.
So, in most cases, if you don’t quit blender or do complex animations from it, there is no need to bake such thing.
