A titanic failure

Starting from a bit of modeling exercise of the RMS Titanic, I ended up trying to do a bit of a funny picture with the boat. So I decided to put it on some desert cliffs. My final goals are to give a good-looking image, which shows the important size of the ship while keeping the desert/quirky side.
Do you think those goals were reached ? What can I improve on this model ?
Thanks in advance, Andarann

If you’re going for quirky… maybe have the boat balancing on a single mountain top. Like a seesaw? Right now you cant see much of the boat.

What you have in the shot at the moment looks like a kid’s toy, which may be a good theme to use if you can think of a story to go with it. It would be a lot less work than making a convincing model of the real ship, and could be an engaging image.

One obvious question is why does the hull have those two vertical steps in it? They weren’t on the real thing, and wouldn’t be on a model either.

Hello, yes i agree for the two steps on the hull. Otherwise i like the shot, it’s self explanatory.
