more diffuse BSDF nodes?

i literally just started using blender today, so if i totally dont know wtf im talking about please tell me. :stuck_out_tongue:

these are my nodes that i made with tutor4u’s youtube tutorial for a photo-realistic ring. as you can see in the picture, i only have 2 diffuse BSDF nodes for two colors, which are for the rock on the ring. I want to do a bigger ring with the 7 colors of the rainbow, but i have no idea how to make that work. can somebody help me out?

Hi, You don’t need necessarily more diffuse nodes. Instead of that you could think to work with colors.
Like this for example:

Do you have an example of what you want to accomplish ? That makes is eassier to make a node-setup for you.

This might not be a exacly where you’re up to. I have no idea you’re looking for.
