Can I set up one background image per scene?

I got some different layout image for each scene from 2D art team, and i set up multiple scene in one blend file.

now, I want the layout to be reflected on the camera using the background image function.

However, background images are always displayed regardless of the scene.

So far, I have tried several tests, but the camera axis option in the background image doesn’t seem appropriate for layout.

It only looks useful for single scene or modeling.

Do you know what options I’m missing?

Currently, the only way I know to use a layout image within a blend file that contains multiple scenes is to make the mapped plane a child of the camera…:frowning:

And this method is cumbersome to fit the size of the plane to the camera and does not correspond to the focal length of the camera.

Even if i enable transparency for a plane in the viewport, selecting the object behind the plane temporarily obscures the transparency effect and hides the object i want to animate.

But if there is no way, I will load multiple background images and turn on the images manually each time I switch scenes.
