Realistic wall paint?

I’m looking at creating the small bumps you see on a wall that has been painted. I was wondering if anyone had some advice for this?

I’m also wondering about making an effect that looks like dried paint that has been brushed across a surface.

Any help would be great!

Hi !

You could have a look at this thread, I remember seeing wall paint node setup [if you work with cycle]. The advantage of this thread is it’s all procedural materials ! The nodes are pretty clear and nicely documented !

Look here: https://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?278285-Yet-Another-Thread-about-Cycles-Materials

EDIT: here is your wall paint material, tweak it 'til it feels good to you ! https://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?278285-Yet-Another-Thread-about-Cycles-Materials&p=2371018&viewfull=1#post2371018

EDIT#2: You can also check the post below the one I already showed, there are few more tips
