How can I get the noise out of my Cycles render WITHOUT using samples?

So I’m working on a model, and I’m at the test rendering stage. And unfortunately, I’m stuck. I’m just not able to get the noise out of my characters skin. the clothes are fine, but not the skin. I’ve tried increasing the samples, but that just made render times exceedingly slow. So my question is this: How can I get the noise out of my Cycles render WITHOUT using samples?

Don’t use subsurface scattering then.
Sacrifices are to be made: Either it’s quality or it’s short render times.

There is a feature called Denoiser that will be included in the next version.
If you don’t want to wait, there is a tutorial on how to get rid of the noise by manipulating the render passes.

You need to try out new scrambling distance in the render panel. Set it to zero.
