Using 2.78.5 for first time, trying to render PNG images to a movie. After placing images/sound in VSE and returning to Default screen, I select the File Format dropdown, and the only movie formats available are AVI jpeg, AVI raw, Frame Server and FFmpeg video. Missing are H264, Quicktime, MPEG, Ogg Theora and Xvid are all missing
I’m using 2.78.5 - is this a glitch?
what OS are you running? i think linux might have some dependency stuff, but im no expert.
does an older version of blender work?
When you select ffmpeg, what further encoding options become available?
I think that was it, organic! That provided several additional options in an additional drop-down; was not aware of that. Thanks!!
