Dynamic paint issue in cycles (SOLVED)

I have created a spaceship shield material in cycles render engine. I planned to mask parts of the shield by a wetmap generated by a dynamic paint simulation for space battles (to mix between the shield material at impacts and transparent material for the remaining shield). In the solid viewport the wetmap is shown, but the attribute color output remains black. I am new to vertex paint in Blender, maybe the mistake will be quite obvious. I tried to bake the simulation, but the result didn’t change. Any suggestions how I could fix the issue would be apprenciated.

I have solved the problem (by an obvious change) by using the “+” symbol behind the dp_dirtmap entry.
