Cyberconnect2 Hack fanart.

Hi there!

This is my latest work. It is the character Tokio Kuryu from Cvberconnect2’s Hack series of games.

This was sculpted in Zbrushcore with base meshes created in Maya.
Used blender internal for shading, compositing and rendering.

Final render composited in blender.

Zbrushcore sculpt, polypaint and blender render.

A breakdown of my process.

Hope you like my work.

Cheers!

Wow nice work I really like it,
Everything here looks fantastic, if I don’t know beater I would say that this is a 2d art
The hair speculare is it, a texture or something else,?
and the color material of the character did you just used toon shader?

Incredible work. Can you share your material settings for the cell shading?

@alf0 and @Safetyman. Thanks a lot.

Yes the specular highlight on the hair is simply a texture that I painted and used in Zbrushcore.

The material for most of the objects is very simple. Its just the basic material with a ramp shader to mix the vertex colors with a darker shade for the shadows. I did not use a toon shader for this one.

For places such as the teeth and tongue I just used a shadeless material to avoid unwanted shadows.

Here is the BI node setup for the hair material .

Hope it helps!

cool this is great

Thanks for sharing that material setup. Really, really nice work.
