Out of sight, out of memory

…because I made the majority of this on a 2GB RAM laptop, I got a lot of “Out of memory errors” lol Created in Blender, Gimp, and MakeHuman for the base human mesh. stones texture from Poliigon.com




Nice, cool athmosphere. You could reduce the bloom a little to show more of that character tho.
Also , I am not sure but, I believe that using a lower resolution textures would help a bit with those errors. But, of course, don’t use too low resolution textures or your image will look bad:P

Yeah I could do that, but hiding the character and leaving only its silhouette is what I had in mind (it’s a part of some sort of art series I call “silhouette” if that makes sense)
For the textures, I only used 4 : Diffuse, normal, and displace of the rock tiles, and one for the mountain, the rest is procedural. I don’t think I can get away witg something cheaper than this (it was the pebbles on the ground that use most of the memory anyway)
