Blender 2.78c crashes

respected artists,

I’m trying to render a heavy scene using CPU, which was unable to render using Nvidea GTX 660ti.
but the animation, the playblast render of which was done well, is not rendering even in separate single layers.
without any notice, blender shuts down after rendering four-five frames.

do any one have similar experience?
or does anyone knows the reason for this?

Crashing at rendering can be caused by nearly everything…

You may start blender from a console window and then start rendering. When blender crashes, it may print something interesting before dying (since the console is a seperate task, it will not crash and hold that information). Maybe it contains something meaningful like “running ouf of memory”…
