Hi everyone,
I’m curious to know if it’s possible for a script to make Blender file locked using a password and only allowed to be linked, so you can’t make it local, and you will need a password to open the .blend file or to append the object inside it.
Can anyone give me a clue or where to start?

The short answer is no, this is not possible in blender.

Make them access your machine through a thin client.

How about using zip/rar program via command line with password and every time after use delete .blend file.
