Metaball wireframe

Is it possible to render metaballs with wireframe? If it is I can;t figure it out so any help appreciated.

You can use the wireframe material node


or just select everything x delete only faces than solidify modifier and render it.

That’s great, thanks. Is there an easy way to get it to render quads instead of triangles? I’ve looked at a few solutions but they seem to involve unwrapping which I can’t do with a metaball.
