How to I record a video fly-through of my blender project?

How do I record a video fly-through of my blender 3D environment and upload it to youtube?

Place the camera on the point of you’re choice on the first frame and hit I > LocRotScale. Then go to frame 250 (or so) place the camera again on the on the point of you’re choice and again hit I > LocRotScale.

With the help of the ‘Lock Camera to View’ function you can make it real easy for yourself to quickly get the result you are looking for. Look it up on youtube for a how-to.

After that;

Press ALT + A to play the animation. If good; render the animation as FFmpeg. (2.78.5)

You can try using Keyframes and Shift-F while in camera view (key frames for the camera),

Shift-F let you ‘fly’ in the scene, if you create keyframes in different (and the right) key points it can look like a flying cam.
I think this is the easiest way to do it, but might not be the most precise.
