Ive noticed a problem ive had two days in a row. Ive made many changes in edite and go back and forth into object view to check it out. But now two days in a row i hit crtl Z in object view, by accident and have lost all changes i made in the edite view. What is this?

welcome to blenders terrifying undo feature…
object undo does large steps. edit undo, should undo one edit at a time. switching modes causes possible strangeness and inconsistencies.
i just dont use the undo if possible.
Yeah, it’s horrible.
If you press redo in object mode right after pressing undo then you can still recover your work, if you enter edit mode right after pressing undo in object mode then you’re screwed.
