Particles emitting from object origin SOLVED

I’m working on a test based object collision. For the most part I’ve got it working, although sometimes it seems like I have to enable effects and physics in a particular order for it to do it correctly after I change a setting. I’m using a collision object to dynamically paint the plane. Then masking the object so it only emits particles where the object hit. The problem is that particles are pouring out of the object origin as shown in the image.

Problem Solved. If anyone else has this problem it’s because I didn’t select “use modifier stack” in the particle menu.
