Bake normal map - visible edge 3d viewport

Hello guys!

I’m trying to bake the normal map of my object, but I’ve made several attempts and the image always seems correct but always has flaws in 3dviewport

I’m using cycles

That’s a problem with normal ray tracing engines, called the ‘terminator problem’. It happens when the Normal makes the outgoing ray hit the mesh itself. This can happen when the used Normal is different than the geometric normal (read more).

To solve this you may need to add more geometry to your mesh (i.e. subdiv). Using bigger area lamps can also reduce the effect.
