How to set up a Microsoft wireless mouse so the roller on mouse rotates object.

I have a Microsoft Wireless mouse that the middle mouse button will not rotate the object in Blender. I have tried adjusting the mouse setting but still it isn’t working.

Questions:

  1. Is a Microsoft Wireless Mouse compatible with Blender?
  2. If so, what setting should be changed for the mouse to work?
