One of the most popular tales in Silesia are the ones about Treasure keepers (“Skarbnik”- pardon my translation if it’s inaccurate). They were ghosts living in coal mines, and protecting them, as well as miners working there.
I was asked to model this character for Katowice city, it was 3D printed, and it’s going to be cast in some kind of metal and put in the town centre. Still, I liked this one enough to also give him a render.
The model is based on Anna Bal’s concept art.
