Modern OpenGL with Blender, can I..?

Hello, I’m creating a blender addon that connects Modern OpenGL application with Blender. The addon itself uses the Blender UIs to connect with Modern OpenGL application and connects a lot of things, such as Vertex/Fragment shader source editing, Render Passess, etc. It doesn’t use any codes from Blender Internal, Cycles neither Game Engine, but creating a new engine similiar with the Blender Game Engine.

My question is: is it okay to post the addon WIP thread on Game Engine Support and Discussion section?

If it is not using the BGE , technically speaking it should not be posted there. You could go for an early release and post it in Released scripts forum.

Remember code and art is always a WIP. This is why the name of the forum is “Released” and not “Completed” or “Finished”.
