The new Cycles GPU 2.79 Benchmark

Hi all, here is thenew Cycles GPU benchmark for Blender 2.79
This time for AMDand Nvidia cards!
After some chat withthe Cycles developer we use 256x256 Tiles again.
It is the bestcompromise for Cuda, OpenCL and different cards.

Please use officialBlender 2.79 only.
Please use only one GPU.

Open file, hit F12(AMD user can render twice because of compiling kernels), write down:

OS
GPU
Render time
Please use orginal Blender stamp format xx:xx.xx
Please don´t upload images, render time and specs only, as stamped.

Original file is from YAFU.

Hi cet,

Please use only one GPU.

User cant compare mixed GPU, especially with different GPU but it is very interesting to compare 1060 with 960.
If you have time render again with each GPU, please.

Cheers, mib

Hmmm. This seems short, but I checked it twice and they’re both the same

Ubuntu 16.04
GTX 760
04:24.23

Indeed it wasn’t the official build. Correct figure is:-
Ubuntu 16.04
GTX 760
05:04.06

Linux Mint 18.3
GTX 980
02:18.49

Just be sure you’re using 2.79 official release and not blender from buildbot nightly builds or some PPA that makes periodic compilations from master.

Official is portable, just extract tar.bz2 file to new folder and execute “blender” file.
