save load skin weight data

Hello Blender people,

Can somebody explain how you export and also import skin weight data in Blender? Or maybe there is a script out there somewhere?

I really hope somebody has an answer as it will save hours of work.

You can transfer weights from one mesh to another easily inside Blenders. I think for a proper answer, you will need to add some additional info on what format or programs you are importing from.
