Some comments. I’ll have to be quick this time.
HISTOR: Nice atmosphere, really good building.
DM9: I liked the expression and the overall chaos of the image. The wave/blur effect on the liquid is also nice.
beau11: That was one of my favourite animations when I was a child. Love the contrast here, but there could be some more detail.
bazevedo: Loved the old photograph look. Feels like material for an urban legend. Reminds me a bit of the pictures of Slender Man.
Arethyu: I liked the alien look of the face, and the bright eyes call a lot of attention.
fcharr: Funny take on the theme. The horses look good, but their “foot” should be larger (and round like the pawn’s foot). I also found it funny how you changed it to remove something I liked
Lux: I liked those teeth. The helicopters give a sense of scale, yet they could be a bit more visible.
skadoosh: It’s a bit creepy, but she looks just like a normal person in the end. But if I recall correctly, you did not finish your entry.
fdo: When in doubt, add boobs The glass was an interesting idea, since it adds a bit of mystery. But the scene is too blurry, and those sparks look a bit random.
Qq0: I’m not completely sure what this is. I guess there is a nightmare… within? The blue material is cool, and so is the background. could use some more contrast though.
RayVelcoro: Poor monkey! Not only they chopped off its head, they also broke its skull. I liked the SSS effect and also the eyes.
franck: Nice details and models. You could’ve used some back light to make the silhouettes visible without making the scene too bright. Also, I liked the GIF you made.
DoriNori: Really loved the colours and lighting here. I liked how you made it feel very dark, without being visually dark. The bark looks cool, and those creatures are spooky. I think you could’ve added something to the tree though (a note maybe?) to make it more interesting.
PyBlend: Funny interpretation. The scene looks quite chaotic, but I guess that was the idea: How the brain confuses our memories.
didierv: I liked the room. The idea is also interesting: The imagination of a child. It took me a while to realize that those eyes were not lamps but monsters.
Photox: Really cute! I loved the contrast between non-serious (toy bat, head lamp, sitting in his bed) and serious (his facial expression). That guy ain’t joking around with monsters!
NATIVO: I liked those monsters and their colours. The shadows they cast on the walls are also cool.
FlyingBanana: Ahh, spiders! I liked the walls and the lamps. Regarding the spiders, I think their bodies should be closer to the floor. Their legs should also be taller than the body (that’s the creepiest thing about spiders in my opinion). The web was a nice touch too.
caz747: I liked that scarecrow and the hat. The ghosts are also cool.
mirek_snd: The idea of being buried alive is quite disturbing. Liked how the scene does not need anything supernatural to work.
robproctor83: Nice character! Albeit unrealistic, I think the lighting worked nice here: The blue sky makes the scene feel more magical. I did not see the bunny at first, but now it reminds me of Donnie Darko.
str11: Really like the room and the chaos. The place really feels abandoned (well, a part from the creepy monster in the ceiling).
purbosky: I liked those monsters, but there is barely any contrast in the image, so it is hard to concentrate on anything.
OLG: Really liked those tentacles and the cracks on the walls.
Helge: He looks so friendly, he can’t possibly bring nightmares! I understand the spider and the heart, but what’s that thing used to clean toilets for (the dictionary called it a “sucker”, but I find that kinda rude…)?
RobertT: Really nice idea. Sometimes the scariest things are buried in history. It’s a strong piece. I also loved the style, it looks so hand-drawn!
