Mesh Deform in animation to Unity

Okay so, I’ve got this animated character in Blender that wears a dress. I’ve animated the dress using the Mesh Deform modifier and a wireframe. (Kinda like in this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imhTnlKrTOY )
This worked perfectly in Blender but when I tried to put this character into Unity the dress would stay in the default T-pose while the wireframe did still moved correctly. How can I make the dress move along with the wireframe just like in Blender?
