Orient Custom Shapes - No reaction

Hey, guys.
So I’ve been stuck with this problem for a while now. I did read the forums, regardles it did not help me.
The problem is that, when I’m trying to orient a custom shape - nothing happends.
I’m using the script from Michael_B, and still no action. After doing all the steps, the custom shape is highlighted dark orange ( as if multiple objects were selected) and that is it. No other shape is created, nor the shape has any effect on the bone or the mesh.

I don’t know what the script is, and as a disclaimer I would say that I barely know what I am doing in regards to rigging, but for the custom shapes I have made, when I need to change their orientation what I do is:

Select the WGTobject (using the Humane Rigging tutorial naming convention), then tab into edit mode and scale/rotate/move as needed.

It seems awkward, so there’s likely a key piece I am missing, but this works.
