Fix Bone Parenting In Many Animations

Hello there,

So I have a first person hands model that has a lot of animations for a particular weapon. I want to share those animations with other hand models I already have.

Unfortunately the rig for some reason didn’t have the hand bones parented to the forearms like the other hand models I have, and it’s that way in the animations as well.


So if I modify the rig to parent the hand bones to their forearms, it breaks the animations pretty spectacularly.


This also means I can’t use the animations for the other hand models.

What’s a good way to fix this? I have at least 20 or so animations, and they were all made with the broken parenting.
