Very good for a beginner. I like the top render better as it is more saturated and shows more details. Nice job with the water.
I have a couple of suggestions. The cattail leaves seem too straight and artificial. There should be some bending and drooping in them so they don’t all look the same. I’d give them some color variation as well. And finally, I think you need to add some translucency to the leaves. The viewer should see a hint of sun shining through the leaves on the right.
