What originally started out as a simple pin cushion render turned into an eggcellent render with a bit of a story 
Overall, I like this piece. It looks very solid, like I could pick it up in my hand. However, despite the efforts on the cracks, it looks more like a stone than an egg. I might be the lack of white or yolk leaking out, or the veiny look of it over all. Most eggs that are veiny in that way are actually more leathery than hard, and tend towards a bluer than reddish cast.
The gold pinhead keeps drawing my eye like a magnet. I suggest you either move it closer to where you want the eye to be drawn, or change the color (but in and of itself, it’s very nice).
Looks like one of those red potatoes. But that’s good. It’s unusual.
