3d Cursor Offset

Greetings!

I have an odd problem, my 3D cursor is behaving strangely.

When I click to place the cursor on an object, it will look like it is placed, but when you rotate the viewport it is offset based on the viewport, going either away from it, or closer toward it. It also affects any selecting in general, if I go into edit mode and try to select a vertex, it won’t select it. When I turn off limit selection to visible, it works again.

Because of that I assume that the cursor in general is slightly offset based on the viewport angle.

EDIT: It seems that the cursor also places right in front of the viewport when trying to record with OBS, any tips on fixing this?

Thanks,
JupiterSky

in user prefs, theres a setting like “cursor depth” that needs to turned on.

Ah, thank you! This has been giving me so much trouble!
