Magnetic bicycle lighting

A short video for my project. Made entirely in open source software: modeled and composited in Blender, rendered with LuxRender.

Looks pretty cool! Not sure I would use a product like that unless i did a bit of nighttime biking but cool anyways.

It would be interesting to know, what was the reasons for using LuxRender instead of Cycles?

I’m using LuxRender since 2009 - there was no Cycles then. And I find it easier to use. For example, there is no way in Cycles to control U and V roughness independently for the anisotropic shader.
