@Millani The same thought crossed my mind, maybe this is the prequel - where it all began. Hopefully the prequel is less disappointing

    Non-competing.

Ms. Rosie at the bus stop.

Going old school. Grew up with the Jetsons. Judy should be about 5 to 10 years older than me now.

Don't tell the wife but at 15 (my age) Judy was a hottie. First bleach blonde in my life. The first of many. lol. Judy should be in her 60's now.

"Ticket to Mars" - Pure entry - Cycles at 4000 samples all materials use basic Principled shader.

Part inspired by The Martian and part my local bus stop.

Mostly focused on learning to model with the subsurf modifier without the resulting mesh looking horrible. Took a lot of advice from the BlenderGuru 747 tutorial.

Comped the sky in with the compositor and ended up with some nasty pixel stepping around the edges of the sign and ship so used a blur which has given everything a kind of halo effect.

    Thanks for organising!

@OLG I did Rosie a little while back, she was shopping with her husband at the local battery/antenna store. https://blenderartists.org/forum/att...5&d=1510519850
Nice to see I am not the only one that was nostalgic aka. getting old. Nice entry

I changed the direction of my entry to a more dark theme. I didn't include the car since I thought it wouldn't add to story or anything but I still learned a lot from creating it.

I think i'll call it pure even though I got the man from manuelbastoni lab

Millani, my wife agrees with you. lol. I am going to refer to my tastes as eclectic.

FlyingBanana, thanks. I am curious if I was subliminally influenced by your scene. I saw it a while back and it probably stuck in my brain. Nice render. Not quite over the hill but getting there fast. It is amazing on how technology has progressed. I grew up with black and white tv and now we can create 3d animations directly on our home PCs.

    When you must stop

    Hi Everyone,

This is the first time I post here.
I think the entry can be called pure, I created everything by myself. I was inspired by the animation movie "Cars".

    Feedbacks are appriciated!
