Hi everyone
Here another model I’ve worked on in the past months for an UE4 project, I wanted to do some lighting test in Cycles trying to do something vaguely in the style of Bocklin paintings.
I hope you like it!
Software used:
-Blender for base mesh, pose and retopology
-Marvelous Designer for cloths
-Zbrush for sculpting
-xNormal for maps baking
-Substance Painter for texturing
-Cycles for rendering
It looks really nice. It seems more of a modern style than greco-roman, particularly with the plain vanilla plinth, so perhaps it’ll work in a sci-fi or future setting.
Hi @rjshae and thanks, yes the model is thinked to be in a modern setting, in this renders is difficult to see it but ther are some broken concrete pillar in the background, the idea was trying to mix old and modern style.
Gotta add - the first two pics in your initial post, the ones em[phasizing the sunlight cutting the shadows are really something. Your bronze is the heat.
The background is just a plane right? In the first image if i look at the base of the statue. There is a hard line where the background starts or is this the border from some kind of mediu, box orso?
