My main question here is why is it that when I press CTRL ALT G to ungroup these boxes they all go to the same place on top of each other.
And why cant I make one of these boxes a active object so I can copy properties ?
Hm, I can’t replicate that.
alt+g clears location, is it possible your ctrl key was sticking?
shift+alt+ctrl+g clears all groups, which might be more valuable in this instance.
If you are trying to apply the physics to the position of the objects, the ‘apply transformation’ operator should do that.
Not sure about your active object problem, I have no issues with the last selected object remaining active.
