Interchangeable plugin format for 3D

I wonder if there’s any plugin format for 3D modifiers, like FreeFrame but for 3D.
Does this exist?

hint: modifiers are not standardized over different platforms (DCC apps)
can you guess now or do research, use search engine… :confused:
