use 3d scanner +cosplay / make up fx and retopo in blender as pipeline?


this is a rotary scanning tool using photogrametry I think*

@350 usd would this be a valid part of a pipeline?

especailly syncing video with animation…

one scan in actual actor on each day of fliming,

One could use IRL skills to make really nice game models.

Blimey ! That looks like a real 3d body scanner.

I guess it simply would depend on if the mesh could be exported as obj fbx or other accessable data.
If so then anything would be possible.

It seems to be possibly using and morphing a prepretry human base mesh like ‘Make Human’ etc…?
I would guess the data might be locked up from first glance with something like this but who knows.

Whole thing seems a bit insane though. Most people are freaked out enough by bedroom mirrors.
