Blender Video Files

Hello,

I’m working and a gaming title introduction on Blender. I downloaded the file from YouTube. All I needed to do was just change the name on the text and good to go. Although I saved the animation and on my way to look for a video file format. I don’t see h.264 or Quicktime at all. Where do I find these options? I’m extremely new at Blender, can someone plz. plz help me

Animations are 2D image data sequenced together. Blender saves in 3D data. So what you need to do is render your video. Think of it as an “export” rather than saving your .blend file to a video format. The Blender Manual should be helpful to you.

The settings you are looking for are found in the output and encoding sections of the render tab:
