knife tool fails to snap

I have a problem with the knife tool it doesn’t snap

also there is this glitch in graphics on the model what is it exactly look at first photo in the center vertex. it looks like a line floating. wireframe shows I’m selecting only 1 vertex.

Are you using a very small model? I usually have problems with some tools when the scale of the model is very tiny.

My model is not tiny. I can’t believe no one here helps.
