is there a new node for bevel
and where can we find it ?

I look in latest 2.79 search and cannot find it

I dont think it’s in 2.79 official release. You need to download one of the latest test builds.

do you know if this will be added in next 2.79 Version Z or only in 2.8 ?

It’s already in master, so 2.79a will feature it, as already do current nightbuilds.

I got latest official built

sorry this is only first release not the real official release yet !

and I search nodes but could not find it

this is for material nodes is it ?

Not in official release (neither in a (latest) nor b (yet to come)), only comes with 2,79 & 2.80 dailies/builbot

There may not ever be a release of 2.79 stable that includes the bevel node. I am not currently aware of any plans for one. The current master/buildbot has non-invasive changes intended for 2.8 that have been done on top of what used to be 2.79. That does not necessarily mean there will be a new 2.7x release based on this code. It may just eventually be rolled into the first 2.8 release.
