One of the characters doesn't want to use the animation, have no clue how to fix it

Hi,

I’ve been having issues with one of my two characters in the game and I have no clue how to fix it neither does my teacher.

The issue is that the bunny doesn’t play any animations or changes direction when moved by the keys whereas the fox with the same kind of settings and properties and values works perfectly fine.

Can someone please help me out as I need to finish this level/game before the deadline and I have no idea how to do it?
Also if you figure it out please tell me what was the mistake and how to avoid it in the future.

Hint: on the collision boxes set Properties/Object/Display/Maximum Draw Type to Wire. I think this will help you a lot.

How to fix:

  • Select Armature
  • Set Properties/Armature/Skeleton/Rest Pose (The bunny should turn 180°)
  • Select the skin mesh object (Cylinder.007)
  • Clear Parent <alt+p> with Clear and Keep Transformation
  • Remove all Armature Modifier at Properties/Modifiers
  • Add Armature to the selection with <shift> + select on Armature
  • Parent <ctrl+p> with armature deform
  • Set Properties/Armature/Skeleton/Pose Position (The bunny should turn 180°)
  • Select the skin mesh object (Cylinder.007)
  • At Properties/Modifiers move the newly added armature modifier to the top position (important)
  • Select the Armature
  • Deactivate the Actuator “face right” (the last one)
  • Start the game <p>

Th bunny should look to the left and animate by now.

I suggest to have a look at the settings of the “face right” actuator.

Another hint: Giving the objects proper names can help a lot, especially as objects are intersecting/Covering each other.
