Hair Mesh Physics

Hey guys!
was looking for a couple of weeks on how to do Hair physics/simulation for hair,my hair is a mesh,converted from a game,is it possible to do some physics simulation to it?

maybe play with cloth and under cloth settings set structural to a high value and pin the root of the meshes vertices to the head. And play with other settings inside cloth. You have also the option “self collision” inside cloth simulation.
Thats all theory becaus i did not test it but I would play with cloth sim :).
