Okay, first up, how do I so a mix of an alpha texture like this and a color?
Next question I have regards SSS. Namely how do I apply a SSS texture like the ones depicted here?
Conc. the SSS - (sometimes it’s helpful to google with changing PS to “Blender”) 
MixRGB with the texture as the factor maybe…
