Redshift looking for rendering-related Blender addon programmers

Hello!

Redshift Rendering Technologies (www.redshift3d.com) are looking for a good Blender addon programmer to help us integrate the Redshift GPU renderer to Blender!

While our main office is in Southern California, we do work with a number of experienced developers around the world. So if you’re located outside the US and/or would like to work from home… no problem! Please note that this is a full-time, paid position and, depending on your prior experience, we’re willing to offer competitive rates. We understand that developing a good rendering plugin can take time so this is a long-term project - or even a perpetual one.

We use Slack for our technical communication here but, if you prefer verbal communication, Skype (or any other app) is also possible. Redshift already has a C++ SDK which is what we use to integrate it with Softimage, Maya, 3dsMax, Cinema4D, Houdini and Katana. Because of all of our existing 3d app integrations, there’s plenty of example code already and all the developers will be available to answer any questions you might have. So you wouldn’t be alone in this!

If all this sounds interesting, please send us an email to [email protected] and mention (in the subject line) that this is about Blender plugin/addon development!

Best regards,

-Panos
