Mesh and Armature ->

Hi guys this is my first time on this forum, am hoping you can help me.

I have a mesh, that needs to be in the same position as the mesh that overlays it - so my selected mesh can take the armature of the overlayed mesh;


specifically I want to change the position of the coloured hands and feet to be identical to the grey object, and I can do this as both objects have bones, but if I pose the bones, and such - pose the mesh with it - when I delete the bones, I lose the mesh pose. SO AM REALLY STUCK. How do I get my model to use the same skeleton as this model, and morph the mesh into the same position as the overlay meshes hands, (as that’s the important bit)

You can apply the armature modifier. You can also apply the the current pose as the armatures rest pos: Pose Mose > Space > Apply Pose as Rest Pose
