UV challenge

Hello!

This bend is proving to be a challenge and I’m at a loss how to fix the light blue area. I can’t quite seem to adjust the stretched vertices without mucking up an adjacent area. Could anyone recommend a tool or add-on for this particular case? Or, is it something that just has to be done manually?

OR , could this particular area of the model be constructed differently? Thanks for any help!


Hi. Varying texel density is the name of the problem. Try: https://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?417608-Addon-Texel-Density-Checker-1-0-6-UPDATE-23-10-17

Other addons such as MagicUV and TexTools may also be able to bring about uniform texel density. If you need your UV edges to stay square you might have to lock an axis while using one of said addons.
