so what's the workflow for microdisplacement in latest test build?

I’ve noticed that in latest build its a bit different to the official 2.79, in official, it goes like: displacement texture -> a math node set to multiply for strength -> material output displacement, in latest build, between the texture and final output there’s displacement node, so what is the correct way to set it up for microdisplacement?
